Disabled Writers is a resource to help editors connect with disabled writers and journalists, and journalists connect with disabled sources. Our goal is specifically to promote paid opportunities for multiply marginalized members of the disability community, and to encourage editors and journalists to think of disabled people for stories that stretch beyond disability issues.

Megan is a Toronto-based poet, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, novelist, and more on the Autism spectrum whose areas of specialty include anime and pop culture, humour/satire, LGBTQIA issues, political pieces, and psychology, especially pieces about ASD. Although she is only 21, and has not yet completed her degree in English and psychology at the University of Toronto, she has already been featured in such publications as In the Zona Magazine, Psych2Go Magazine, Vice, and The Hard Drive! She is ambitious, hardworking, creative, and very passionate about her work, and loves to use her words to fight for an important cause, or even just to make people laugh.
