Disabled Writers is a resource to help editors connect with disabled writers and journalists, and journalists connect with disabled sources. Our goal is specifically to promote paid opportunities for multiply marginalized members of the disability community, and to encourage editors and journalists to think of disabled people for stories that stretch beyond disability issues.

Max Sparrow (formerly Sparrow Rose Jones) is an Autistic author, artist, and public speaker traveling the United States and living nomadically as he writes about disability issues and presents his writing at bookstores and universities around the country. He is the author of The ABCs of Autism Acceptance (2016, Autonomous Press) and No You Don't: Essays from an Unstrange Mind (2013, Unstrange Publications).
