Disabled Writers is a resource to help editors connect with disabled writers and journalists, and journalists connect with disabled sources. Our goal is specifically to promote paid opportunities for multiply marginalized members of the disability community, and to encourage editors and journalists to think of disabled people for stories that stretch beyond disability issues.

Lisa Sartori is a writer, cat mom, sick person, sewist, and proud aunt living in arid Southern California. She writes nonfiction as well as fiction, in genres including memoir, personal essay, blog, humor, literary fiction, science fiction, and fantasy. Her work has appeared in Doll Hospital Journal issue 2 (as Lisa di Antoni), Off the Rocks vol.19, and the documentary film project Sad Girl Cinema.
