Disabled Writers is a resource to help editors connect with disabled writers and journalists, and journalists connect with disabled sources. Our goal is specifically to promote paid opportunities for multiply marginalized members of the disability community, and to encourage editors and journalists to think of disabled people for stories that stretch beyond disability issues.

I have thirteen years of experience as a freelance writer. While I am primarily a poet, I have also written essays, fiction, theater reviews, and human interest journalism. I spent four and a half years as the official publicist and theatrical writer for the Sun City Community Theatre of Bluffton, South Carolina, reviewing their productions for SunSations Magazine and the arts section of The Bluffton Sun. Additionally, I offer freelance archival research for writers, historians, etc. My rates vary depending on the specific assignment.
