Disabled Writers is a resource to help editors connect with disabled writers and journalists, and journalists connect with disabled sources. Our goal is specifically to promote paid opportunities for multiply marginalized members of the disability community, and to encourage editors and journalists to think of disabled people for stories that stretch beyond disability issues.

I am an experienced writer and editor excited for any opportunities to write criticism and reviews of film and television.

I am a graduate of NUI Galway's BA with Creative Writing (English and Philosophy) and have three years' experience as a student journalist, with a focus on entertainment and politics, for which I was shortlisted as Journalist of the Year at the Student Achievement Awards 2016. I have been further recognised for my writing by Hot Press and the Undergraduate Awards on four occasions. I am also a published poet.

I co-created The Sundae, a blog of film and TV criticism, with my creative partner, Ciara Moloney, where I write and publish a work of long-form film and TV criticism every fortnight. I write from a left-wing perspective and I'm particularly interested in sitcoms and genre shows, rom-coms, mental illness, faith, class analysis and the work of the Wachowski Sisters.
