Disabled Writers is a resource to help editors connect with disabled writers and journalists, and journalists connect with disabled sources. Our goal is specifically to promote paid opportunities for multiply marginalized members of the disability community, and to encourage editors and journalists to think of disabled people for stories that stretch beyond disability issues.

I'm a legally blind bipolar student, video editor, writer, filmmaker and advocate located in Seattle. I strive to use media to protect and expand the rights of people of all types of disabilities and identities. I am dedicated to making media as accessible as possible and promoting accessible media making processes in the mainstream film and video community. Specifically, I want to combat the stigmas, misconceptions, and barriers that people with mental illness face. I'm also an artist through music, poetry, photography, film, and other mediums and love using art to express myself.
