Disabled Writers is a resource to help editors connect with disabled writers and journalists, and journalists connect with disabled sources. Our goal is specifically to promote paid opportunities for multiply marginalized members of the disability community, and to encourage editors and journalists to think of disabled people for stories that stretch beyond disability issues.

I'm a 25 year old stroke survivor and chronic central pain syndrome battler who has used misfortune and hardship as a way to become a stronger, all round better, person, and to reflect this on others through expression in my writing as I found my voice and discovered my natural flair for creating content that is influential and inclusive but also fun. Over the years I have solely built up my blog and online presence into an established space to create my own empowering, relatable content. I like to inject my passions, interests, and thoughts into something that is approachable and accommodating to all ages, races, genders, and abilities.
